There's most difficult question in the life.

The question that 'I live for what?'

We should be in fierce anguish for the answer of the question

before we get old.

If we can't find the answer, why we should live?

Therefore, Veronika decides to die.

And only one week is given to her.

Having one week to die,

She find out the things more than she did during her life of 24 years

about 'the reason of the life'

We tries to study others' face to much in the life

concerning about 'how they think about me'

and wrapping ourselves pretending a more perfect person.

But is it really myself?

'Myself whom you are looking' and 'Myself whom I'm looking'

Gapping these two might make us step toward the death as Veronika did.

Her one week tells us that

the reason why we couldn't find the reason of the life is

that we couldn't make 'Myself whom you are looking' be 'Myself whom I'm looking'

Let's speak out it's painful when got hurt.

Let's cry when sad.

Let's laugh when pleasant.

What is called a bright, cheerful, and angelic persons smells of dense shadow.

Artificial smiling tates bitter.

A guy, who was not familiar but made intense impression on me, comes to my mind.

'We just want to enter a better school and looking forward to a better job like..leveling up the characters and look forwards to better items in a computer game.'

Left these words and he has gone to the world whre he never came back..

This book remind me of that, which is a great while ago.

"How will be the lecture of Dalai Lama on the teachings of Jesus?"

It might be the one of the most curious question.

And it was actually happened in 1994 at London, UK.

'The Good Heart' is the book on the lecture, which includes what he spoke in the lecture, and explanation by Father Laurence Freeman.

Before the lecture a few paragraphs of the Bible were given to Lama, and he talked what he think about the paragraphs in his point of view.

It maybe very strange if you are only familiar with the Christian's viewpoint.

But even though it is strange, it's never make you feel awkward, rather just smile and deeply understood.

It's hard to make a short summary since the words he used have too huge meanings.

Just read it, and feel it.

That's the only thing that I want to recommand to you.

In 2006, there were talks about Buddisim by western Buddist priests in Jakwang-Sa, Korea.

In the talks, 10 priests talked about Buddisim, and explained their sincere experience.

This book is the comliation of the talks.

Actually, we say that about 20M people are Buddist, but less than 10% might be true Buddist (that means goes to temple regularly and understand the meanning of Budda's instruction) as you know.

More than 90% of the Buddists go to the temple only at the Budda's birthday or the day before the enternance exam of their children.

We, Koreans, learn about the Buddism unconsciously in usual days since it has been believed about 1500 years.

But we don't know what's the Buddism.

I neither. I just imagine the corrupted monks or just think it as a kind of superstitution.

This book tells that what's the Buddism, a very abstruse philosophy.

Reading this book, I've felt that some kind of solutions to my pains, to my agonies are comming.

Although I've never learned about Buddism deeply, this book shows me the solution dimly.

Just with it, I felt something..that is very impressive but that never can be explained by words.

Just read it, you never reget.
